The mobile first web frontend is embedded in a rich variety of TV apps and apps that are easy to customize. On the player side, nexplayer was set to help to resolve the difficult chapter of the live-subtitling. The project was presented to potential clients in Europe, the USA and Dubai and received with great interests. Opera.live is specifically tailored to the needs of the arts and culture industry and clearly differentiates itself from the TV market. The project was supported by the Austrian Research and Promotion Agency (FFG). For further development, NOUS has founded its own start-up - the .nunc Kultur- und Livestreaming GmbH. Nunc offers streams of content production in the cultural institutions as well as the marketing of such streams via payment portals.
