History Revisited

The German Historical Museum in Berlin was founded in 1987 on the occasion of the city's 750th anniversary and was transformed into an all-German museum of history with reunification.

The exhibition "1914-1918. The First World War", which was shown in Berlin in 2014, was the only one of its kind. NOUS developed the multimedia guide for the special exhibition, which gave visitors the choice between a small and a large tour of the exhibition, arranged according to 14 theatres of the war. A "free" tour was also available to explore the various exhibits independently. On an in-depth level, visitors could call up audio and explanatory texts to broaden their horizons of knowledge. References were made to the respective battlefields and political-cultural centres as well as their historical effects were explained in detail.

A specially developed youth tour was completed by means of an interactive quiz in which the young people could test their knowledge.
