Energy Expo Wels

    • For the EWW Wels we created an application for multi-touch displays to be used at the Engergiesparmesse expoENERGY in Wels, Upper Austria. The app introduces visitors to the topic “future homes.” Due to the at times high visitor numbers, the intention was to enable visitors to explore the topic independently.

    The “future home” is depicted as a simplified 3D model. Via multi-touch gestures, the model can be turned, enlarged, and moved. Numerous points—so-called POIs—are recorded in the model, ranging from electricity supply to home automation. Additionally, a “guided tour” was integrated into the app, which shows users all the POIs in a predefined order. To ensure that it can also be used via the EWW Wels website, the application can also be accessed as a WebGL solution.
