    • For the Austrian Energy Agency, a mobile application and back-end for 9 countries was developed, which compares the energy values of electrical products with each other via scan function to facilitate the consumer to choose energy-friendly products.

    The app ecoGator helps when buying new household appliances to save money. Thus the most energy efficient and best equipment could be found with the help of the app. Practical feature: With the energy labels on appliances, energy costs over a span of several years can quickly be calculated using the scan function. This should help in improving energy efficiency in households. The Smartphone App "ecoGator" is the centerpiece of European-wide Information Campaign "myEcoNavigator", which supports consumers in choosing efficient appliances and to save electricity in households.
