ORF ON, the new face of TVthek, is now available to the public, and NOUS played a key role in its realisation! ORF ON can be used via the platforms Android, iOS, Android TV, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV, which were developed by our team. It can also be used via smart TVs, HbbTV and on the web. The new platform replaces the previous TVthek and presents itself with a contemporary design and a wealth of modern functions. One of the outstanding features of ORF ON is the extended availability of programmes, which makes it possible to access a lot of content on demand for up to six months, while documentaries and children's programmes, such as ORF KIDS, are even available indefinitely. ORF ON also offers a comprehensive live streaming service that covers all four ORF channels almost completely and includes functions such as a 24-hour timeshift and a restart function. The platform also focuses on accessibility through subtitles, acoustic image descriptions and sign language in the new video player as well as customisable playback speed in the web version.
