For the Jewish Museum Vienna NOUS combined the existing media guide and a newly developed public app that guides users to places of Jewish life in downtown Vienna. Visitors of the museum can choose between free and paid tours. The progressive web application includes new features like a built-in ticket verification. Visitors to the museum are invited to install the app on their own mobile device or rent an in-house guide on site. An access restriction for copyright protected data, meaning data that can only be accessed in the museum premisses, is also part of the application. A note system to collect and share references was also implemented. Curators and art educators of the museum can easy und quickly edit content and / or tours via our smart content management system the ‘NOUS Conductor CMS’.
